The short version
- Cancel before kickoff work begins: your deposit is refunded in full.
- Cancel after kickoff: you pay for the work delivered to date and we refund the rest.
- Consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw, with the early-start rule explained below.
- Monthly plans: cancel with 30 days' notice.
Rescheduling
You can reschedule the kickoff date free of charge up to 5 business days before the agreed date.
Cancelling a one-off project
- Before kickoff work begins. Write to support@designertowers.com. We refund the deposit in full, including VAT.
- After kickoff work begins. We calculate the share of the package already delivered, based on the stages completed and work in progress, and send you an itemised statement. You pay for that work. We refund the remainder of what you have paid. If you have paid less than the value of the work delivered, we invoice the difference.
- Milestone payments already made are counted in this calculation. Later milestones are not due.
Design-hour blocks and extra languages
Paid in full upfront. Unused hours or an unstarted language are refunded in full. Used hours and started work are not refundable.
Monthly plans
Cancel with 30 days' notice by email. You pay until the end of the notice period. We don't refund a month that has started, except where the service was not provided.
Consumers: right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer (not for business purposes), you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the order without giving a reason. To withdraw, email support@designertowers.com with your order reference and a clear statement that you withdraw. We refund what you paid within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method.
At checkout you may ask us to start the work during the 14 days. If you do and then withdraw, you pay for the work already done up to the moment of withdrawal, in proportion to the full price. If the service is fully performed within the 14 days at your request, the right of withdrawal ends once we have performed it fully and you have been informed of this before we started.
Business buyers
The 14-day withdrawal right doesn't apply to purchases made for business purposes. Sections 2 to 5 apply.
Defects
If a delivered item doesn't match the agreed scope, tell us within 30 days of launch. We correct it at no charge. If we can't, we refund the affected part.
How and when we refund
Refunds go to the original payment method within 14 days of agreement. Include your order reference in your email.
